There was a book at some point. At $55 on Amazon.....not cheap ! But I think the publication was a limited edition, you will only get a 'not new' version.

Obviously not under Titor's own name....I think it was his 'mother' or someone who allegedly wrote it. No idea how well it's done.....but can't be too bad a business if old copies are selling at $55 a time !! Even if only 1,000 copies were printed.....you're talking about $55,000 worth of book out there.

Then there's the 'official' Titor website, with merchandise and stuff. I've always been a little suspicious of why the guy who runs it is so determined Titor is 'real'.

And of course, the John Titor Foundation....which seems to feel the need to hire a lawyer. Now why would they need a lawyer ? Well of course.....copyright of 'the story'.

Of course, in that respect Titor has a problem. As he won't reveal his real name, then John Titor is essentially a fictitious character with a problem in that given the very nature of the story anyone else could claim to be 'John Titor returned' and there is nothing any lawyer can do. The only way the lawyer could argue ' you are not the real John Titor'.....is to reveal who the real Titor is.

Indeed.....such a ploy WOULD in fact be a far better way to expose Titor. I can imagine that Titor would hate to be out-hoaxed at his own story.....and have 'the sequel' taken over by someone else...who could even ( as they are John Titor ) rewrite the original story !

Not to mention that you don't need The Book. The threads are here on TTI and the complete threads from TTI and Post-2-Post are available on Anomalies.net.

The only difference between The Book and the original threads are the "thoughts" of the fictional "Momma" Kay Titor and the indivudual posts that were edited from the original in The Book.

If he would come out of hiding and reveal his true identity and put a book out himself under his own name and tell his story the real one not the fake one from his point of view he could potentially make enough to retire on. But, then everyone not naming a few folks who belived him would now the truth about him. My guess is he wants his story the fake one to live on and he does not want his neighbors to know he is a time travel wacko.

Believe those who are seeking the truth; doubt those who find it.
