One of the best jobs Judson Daniel Elliott III ever had was as a Time Courier. It was difficult, though, to take group after group of tourists back to the same historic event without colliding with yourself on the way in or out. Even more difficult was resisting the urge to become engrossed in the past and interfere with future occurrences. The deterrents against such behavior were terrifyingly effective. As a result, Judson Daniel Elliott followed the rules. Then he met a lusty Greek in Byzantium who taught him how to break regulations... and sent him on a family-history merry-go-round that would forever alter his past and future!
