Come to think of it, the art movement known as Renaissance art seems to have had it's genesis in Arab perspective geometry. Paolo Toscanelli, whom Nicholas of Cusa regarded as the best mathematician alive (in the "West") had somehow got hold of some Arab geometry texts (probably forbidden at the time) and told an architect friend of his about it named Felippo Brunelleschi. Brunelleschi used the info to develop converging lines of sight and vanishing points, which excited an artist named Masaccio who kicked off the whole of realistic Renaissance art with his "Trinity" painting.
