BBC News - Higgs boson results from LHC 'get even stronger'

I can't explain why, but, somehow- I have doubts about this.
Maybe just a hunch fed by the big rush lately to make it all seem so positive.


Note the Caveat:

new particle.
However, many questions remain as to whether the particle is indeed the long-sought Higgs boson; the announcement was carefully phrased to describe a "Higgs-like" particle.

A last minute rush to secure further funding in hard times- springs to mind!


I can always smell hype.
